Daily Drawings- the 1st 30

Do a little and often. This is how a practice is maintained for me at the moment.

In a small art journal, I respond to a moment in my day with a quick sketch. This practice encourages me to be mindful throughout my day and to pay attention to the world around me.

Each day I sit down and reflect on the feelings and sensations I have experienced, then respond through an abstract drawing. I focus on my interactions with nature it seems… The constraint of my small sketchbook scale is helpful. Using mainly soft pastels as they are textural and accessible I find it best not to overthink and just draw.

The brief daily drawings accumulate to show the passing of time and the fleeting impressions that make up my days.

Each drawing, with their descriptive caption is documented on my Instagram.
