Morning Walks Before a Day in the Studio

Early morning walks have become part of my routine (although occasionally the snooze still gets hit). Strolling down to the beach in the crisp morning airĀ  in time for sunrise is not only beautiful but creatively productive.

Walking and movement historically have been linked with stimulating creative thinking on anecdotal basis… it is now proven.

Even a very short walk, particularly in natural environments, have been proven to yield more divergent thinking and creativity. Research also shows that it is not just whilst walking but the creative effects last beyond the actual walk. Check out this article and its links for more info:
